Not sure, you either need an invite code or a paid account to get a user name.
It seems like it will be good if you like fandom and such... I am just not sure if I want to shell out the money until I know what's up. I was hoping someone had an invite to start with. To check it out that way.
Not sure if it's better than LJ, I think it's just different... :)

I think some former people who helped run LJ are running it, but I've seen several people say they are moving there or thinking about it.
