Project for today... complete overhaul of the LJ.
I really need to post more, problem is it will be more about RL, Dr Who and Stargate. I hope everyone doesn't mind. My mind just sort of shut down the past few weeks.
Yes, I am still alive.
A relative of mine was hit in Ike, so we have been dealing with that. The first week was basically does she still have a home.
Second week was yes, she still has a home... no roof and massive wall damage though. :/
The most important thing however, she, her husband and the puppies are all safe. That's what's important, the house can be rebuilt.
More fun news here, there is no gas in the south east. Thankfully I have a full tank of gas, so that is good.
I think that this week I will treat myself to one of two things, either:
Batman Lego Game PS3
The Force Unleashed PS3
Speaking of games, I am utterly addicted now to one I found last week.
Let's see what else... oh did anyone see Aaron Eckhart on The Daily Show? I had no idea he was on, was watching and... there he was. He's so adorable. I just love him. Prior to that, Bill Clinton was on and last week Tony Blair was on. Great few days of guests.
Aaron.. while on the topic of hot men, did anyone see Atlantis last night?
Daniel Jackson has always been, hm cute. I am Jack gal, but Daniel is a cutie. However, last night... when did he become drop dead gorgeous? Because, damn.
That had to be one the best episodes I've seen this season. The lines with Rodney and Daniel were perfect, the story line was great!
I was on the edge of my seat many times, that hasn't happened in a long time.
I mentioned hot Daniel as well?
Oh and... Todd? Yea. Ok, I know he's green. But he's in leather, has a deep voice and he's big.
Life is good.
But that line in the infirmiry :( Poor thing... and note to the writers:
So help me if you kill Todd and the Wraith off. Just no. Don't even go there.
Ending scene: Todd, sprawled in chair...
Yes, please.
Sun's coming out, I remember the sun. lol
What else, oh looking forward to Sanctuary next week, it looks pretty interesting.

But she's safe, so that's all that matters.
I want that Batman game. I had the Star Wars Lego games and they were a trip. Mini Qui-Gon :D

Yes she is near there, she was staying just outside of Houston when it hit and their hotel only lost power the first day, but there was damage even out that way.
Her area is destroyed. :(
